AI-Powered Public Pedagogy: Thesis Poster Presentation
This doctoral dissertation was transformed into an interactive and visually rich public pedagogy experience through the use of AI-generated imagery and narrative poster design. Using Sora (OpenAI), I developed a series of visual prompts aligned with key thesis themes, creating an immersive storytelling experience for the final defense presentation. This project highlights how academic research can be translated into accessible and affective learning experiences through multimodal design.

Beyond the Text: Promoting Digital and Visual Literacy through Multimodal Projects
This instructional design project was developed as part of UBC’s Beyond the Text initiative, aimed at promoting digital and visual literacy through multimodal assignments in undergraduate classrooms. I contributed extensively to the research, design, evaluation, and curricular development of this project. My work supported both faculty and students in engaging with multimodal forms of academic expression—bridging traditional literacies with digital fluency.

Critical Reading & Gamification for National Assessment
This project highlights the integration of gamification and instructional design in a national literacy initiative led by Colombia’s Ministry of Education and ICFES. Through the development of reading comprehension tools and standardized test items, I contributed to enhancing students’ academic literacy while promoting motivation and equity. This work demonstrates how thoughtful learning design can transform high-stakes assessment into student-centered experiences.
